I planned a quick escape to stay at Umbi Gumbi which offers an artist residency program.  Its a gorgeous stylish retro beach house amidst a nature reserve of spotted gums right on the beach.  If that doesnt sound perfect enough they also have an artist studio !! Sooooo good.  I didnt want to leave and cant wait to go back.
