The haunting ghost gums seemed to carry the herstory of women and children of the gold rush era in the central west.  As an exploration of matrilineality and the relationship of women to place, a pregnant figure embedded in a criss-cross of trees, magnifies the sense of interconnectedness between present and past, humanity and nature
