Bio

Patrice’s extensive professional background working and training in the realms of visual arts, education and health is evident in work that is life-deep, reflecting and exploring the human condition and spirit. In the manner of the symbolists Patrice is interested in the psyche, relationships, culture and identity, restaging known narratives through a feminist lens using the sensuous materiality of paint and an intuitive process.  Patrice paints her connection to people and places resulting in work soaked in feeling and mood. Patrice’s expressive painterly work has been exhibited throughout NSW and has found its way to private collections in Australia and the United States.
